A novel working model was developed by Montiel et al. 2021, to study the intercellular symbiotic colonization in legumes, the Lotus-IRBG74. We have a large collection of Lotus mutants affected in their mutualistic association with the microsymbiont IRBG74. We aim to identify and characterize the gene(s) responsible of the phenotype observed.
